COMMUNITIES
In 2020, CTG Brasil started pilot projects for social investment guided by the strategy of income generation and socioeconomic development, defined in the previous year as the focus of operations in the locations where its plants are located.

In partnership with Instituto Meio, the ongoing actions benefit the regions close to the Garibaldi and Jurimirim hydropower plants.

This strategy also guided the 1st Call for Incentive Resources for Local Development. Of the 278 projects registered, 21 were approved and received contributions totaling R$ 13.4 million. This amount represents 95% of the total amount of the social investment made by the company in 2020.
