improves its
corporate
governance structure

GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE
In January 2021, CTG Brasil began the process of evolving its corporate governance model, aiming to align it with the best market practices.

Thus, it started to rely on the participation of an independent director in its Advisory Board. The independent member chosen for the position is Raul Calfat. The new board member is also chairman of the Board of Laboratories Aché and an independent member of the Boards of Duratex and Embraer.

Regarding the governance in subsidiaries, Rio Paraná stood out for completing, in March 2021, its registration as a publicly-held company with the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) for category “B”, which will allow access to a wider range of investors in financial operations and strengthen its institutional image before creditors.
