The pathway
towards growth

STRATEGY & MARKET
In 2020, CTG Brasil designed a strategic plan for the four drivers of its strategy, with a five-year horizon.

This plan, which aims to make the company ready to take advantage of opportunities in the electricity sector when Brazil picks up its pace of growth, was communicated to the entire leadership at the company, so that, therefore, everyone is aligned and moving towards the same direction.

With a focus on renewable sources and investments in modernization and technology, CTG Brasil will continue to be positioned as an important player, strengthening its relevance to develop the country. In 2021, this plan must have its approval concluded, and then it will be internally disclosed to all employees.

STRATEGIC DRIVERS

The first strategic driver is operational excellence, which means operating plants with the highest quality and safety standards and conducting all processes as per the best market practices, seeking simple and agile solutions. In the last year, the modernization project of the Ilha Solteira and Jupiá plants stand out, as well as the Integrated Management System certification..

The second driver is financial discipline, in which the company must establish an efficiency and austerity culture, ensuring that all processes and initiatives are aimed at creating value. This driver is key and, in this context, the introduction of new methodologies, such as the Zero-Base Budget (OBZ), supports the leaders in the improvement journey.

The third driver is commercial efficiency, which involves the use of innovative solutions to optimize the relationship between risk and return in energy sales. The creation of CTG Trading, still in the initial phase, complements the performance in the energy market.
