The regularization of the various uses of the areas under our concession guarantees environmental conservation and the maintenance of biodiversity.
We provide all the necessary support for sustainable soil use, reinforcing our commitment to the development of the communities where we operate. If you own property in areas under our management or wish to develop activities around the reservoirs, check out our guidelines.
Maybe you didn’t know, but companies, people and governments need prior authorization from environmental and regulatory bodies to use and occupy the banks of reservoirs. Therefore, if you want to develop activities in our concession areas, the first step is to approve the project and sign a Reservoir Edge Use Cession Agreement with us.
It is important to remember that the edges of the reservoirs are environmentally protected areas and, therefore, according to Law 12.651/2012, they can only have buildings that are classified as public utility, of social interest or of low environmental impact.
The procedure for entering into an Use Cession Agreement is divided into two phases, according to the following flow:
