Based on international standards, ISO requirements provide guidelines for an efficient Anti-Bribery Management System (MSMS) and Compliance
CTG Brasil has just achieved, for the first time, the international certifications ISO 37001 (Anti-Bribery Management System) and ISO 37301 (Compliance Management System). For CTG Brasil, the certifications are a reflection of the Company’s commitment to conducting business based on transparency and ethics, reinforcing one of CTG Brasil’s most important values, the value of integrity, always!
The Anti-Bribery and Compliance Management System implemented by CTG Brasil helps business areas ensure compliance with applicable standards and legislation, through efficient internal controls developed based on a level of international excellence.
The ISO 37001 and ISO 37301 certifications are directly linked to corporate governance and the sustainable value chain and, as part of CTG Brasil’s ESG strategy, brought even more engagement of the business areas with the Anti-Bribery and Compliance Management System, reinforcing its mission with ethics, integrity and transparency and reiterating its commitment to mitigating the risks of corruption and bribery.
“These certifications reinforce our value of integrity and CTG Brasil’s commitment to disseminating ethics and transparency in all our relationships, in addition to reiterating the solidity of the Compliance Programs. The engagement of our professionals and senior management, our training, processes and controls were fundamental in this journey to obtaining these certifications”, says Natasha Durazzo, Director of Compliance, Audit and Risks.
The process of obtaining certifications took place in 2023, divided into three phases, which involved 14 business areas, the support of 70 professionals, during 22 interviews for internal and external audits. Both listed management by the Compliance area as strong points; the quality of training carried out with the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct; robust controls on contract administration policies, delegation of authority and the procurement process; in addition to raising awareness among professionals about the processes and rules for receiving gifts and presents and the Company’s communication channel (Liha Ética). Due to the certifications, 19 controls were implemented to monitor the Compliance Program, such as Due Diligence control of donations, sponsorships and third parties, in addition to control of indicators for completion of training and Compliance campaigns.
