Located between the cities of Caçu and Itarumã, 380 km far from Goiânia (GO), Salto Hydroelectric Power Plant provides clean energy for the National Interconnected System.

Salto HPP has two 58 MW generating units with Francis-type turbines and a reservoir with 60.2 km² of area, which extends along 242 km of linear edges. CTG Brasil develops socio-environmental projects around the plant and is an effective member of the Baixo Paranaíba Watershed Committee, participating in the discussions and sustainable improvements for the region.

On average, the plant generated energy to supply a city with about 148,000 inhabitants.
